Forrest E. Buck, 78, 1520 B St. South Sioux City, died Tuesday in a Sioux City nursing home after a long illness.
Services will e at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Northside Alliance Church in Sioux City with the Rev, David Cotner, pastor, and a son-in-law, the Rev. William Wayland, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City.
Mr. Buck was born March 2, 1910, in Macy, Neb. He married Hazel L. Karsk Sept. 16, 1936, at North Bend, Neb. He was employed as a truck driver at all American Transportation in Sioux City until 1968. He then was employed with the South Sioux City School System for 11 years. He had been a resident of Sioux Sioux City since 1940.
Mr. Buck was a member of the Northside Alliance Church.
Survivors, include his wife; three sons, John F. of South Sioux City, James D. of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Keith E. of Dakota City; a daughter , Mrs. William (Gayle K)wayland of Camano Island, Wash; a brother, Clyde s. of Ogden, Utah; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
