Funeral Services for Kenneth C. Buck,56, 4101 Gordon Drive, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jan Bengtson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.
Pallbearers will be Myrlland Croy, Creighton Meyers, Darrell Buck , and Virgil Odin and Darrell Lukken.
Mr. Buck was born April 15, 1915, a Rosalie, Neb., and had lived in Sioux City most of his life after moving here as a child. He had worked for Bomgaars Supply the last seven years and had worked for the Texaco Oil Co, here for 13 years before that. He married Aldean Lukken August 4, 1935, a Maskell, Neb. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Rodney (Connie) Moore of Sioux City; four brothers, Lester of Sloan; Wayne of Sandpoint, Idaho; Forrest of South Sioux City, and Clyde of Ogallala, Neb, and two grandchildren.
Mr. Buck died at his home Monday after a long illness.
