Wayne N. Buck, 72, of Sandpoint, Ida., former South Sioux City resident, died Thursday at his home in Sandpoint after a brief illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Sandpoint. Burial will be in the Boot Hill Cemetery at Sandpoint. (Now Pinecrest)
Mr. Buck was born July 2, 1907, near Walthill, Neb. He came to Sioux City where he worked as a carpenter. He moved to Idaho in 1942.
Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte in New York City; one son, Dick of Moses Lake, Wash.; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Forrest of South Sioux City and Clyde of Ogden, Utah.
Wayne also had a son. Wayne Jr. "Buddy" who passed away in 1934.
