LEONARD HERBOLD
KALISPELL - Former Benchland, Grass Range and Lewistown resident Leonard Herbold, 78, of Kalispell, who formerly worked for the Fergus and Glacier County road departments, died Friday of natural causes at his home.
Visitation is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, with Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. His Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Risen Christ Catholic Church, with burial in Glacier Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Herbold of Kalispell sons Mark Herbold and Chris Herbold, both of Kalispell, and John Herbold of Burbank, Calif. daughters Kathy Thompson of Kalispell, Lori Lea Davis of Kalispell, Bernie Martin of Hisparia, Calif., and M. Jessica (Phyllis) of Alton, Ill. brothers Lester "Swede" Herbold of Stanford, Mervin Herbold and Richard Herbold, both of Kalispell, and Jack Herbold of Cookeville, Tenn. sisters Billie Bonner, June O'Conner and Karen Emerson, all of Eureka, Bea Swan of Portland, Ore., and Janet Rose of Kalispell 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughters Jennifer and Faith Anne, and one grandson.
