Mrs. Gertrude G. Jennings, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.B. Randall, 86 South Harrison Street, at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon, September 4, 1910, aged 83 years,m 10 months and 28 days.

Mrs. Jennings was born in Cincinnati, October 19, 1821, and was married to Rev. Charles P. Jennings, September 6, 1842.

Rev. Jennings died November 20, 1894, following an illness of several years. He was well known in this city and county in his earlier life as a Presbyterian minister and later on as an Espiscopalian minister and was highly esteemed for his good work as a man of God. Mrs. Jennings was also of a deeply religious nature and was a zealous worker for the Episcopal Church in this city until illness kept her from active duty.

Her best wishes and powers throughout her declining years were for the church and she lived a true Christian life.

She is survived by five children; Mrs. Randall of this city; Charles G. Jennings, of Emporia, Kas.; Mrs. Albert Cotsworth, of Chicago; T.B. Jennings, of Topeka, Kan. and G.B. Jennings, of Shenandoah, Iowa.

The funeral services will be private and will be held at the Randall home at 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. James Comfort, of Columbus officiating.

Friends are requested to omit flowers.

The interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery in charge of D.B. Wilson & Son.
