Mr. Anderson died on Mon., Feb. 14, 2005, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 24, 1907, in Jackson County to the late Walter T. and Ova Haile Anderson. He was a farmer and a member of Gainesboro Church of Christ.
His family includes his wife, Tennie (Tootsie) Haney Anderson of the Roaring River Community; a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Celia Smith of Gainesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Marsha-Claudette and Dennis Elliott of Gahanna, OH; a brother and sister-in-law, Draper and Treva Anderson of Nashville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Doyle Bradham of Gallatin and Eudelle and Vestal Roberts of Cookeville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Walter Owen Anderson; two sisters, Dolan Norton and Dorothy West; and three brothers, Cart T., Lewis (Doc) and James (Jelly) Anderson.
