Milo E. Holderbaum, 78, of 17676 C.R. 40, P.O. Box 226, Goshen, died at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday in Goshen General Hospital due to congestive heart trouble.
He was born Aug. 3, 1922, in Wakarusa, to Arthur and Gertrude (Wise) Holderbaum. On Dec. 20, 1941, he married Vivian Martin, in Goshen.
Mr. Holderbaum, a lifetime area resident and self-employed carpenter and builder, retired in 1984 from Nomads Inc. as a swing man. He attended People's Bible Church, Benton.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Bonnie Jean (Mrs. Frank) Kahn, Fort Wayne; two sons, Robert L. Holderbaum, Syracuse, and Jack A. (Evelyn) Holderbaum, New Paris; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and six sisters, Fern Tavernier, Porter, Marjorie Miller, Bonnie (Mrs. William) Smith, and Wilma (Mrs. Charles) Wenger, all of Goshen, Ruby (Mrs. Marvin "Bud") Etsinger, New Paris, and Norma Jean (Mrs. Everett "Junior") Whitehead, Wakarusa.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Wilheim and two brothers, Glen and Arthur Dale Holderbaum.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday before services at the church. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at People's Bible Church in Benton. The Rev. John Randolph will officiate, followed by burial at Oakridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to People's Bible Church or the American Heart Association.

Funeral Notice - Pallbearers for burial in Oakridge Cemetery, will be Kyle and Kipp Bolin, Rex Lebold, Kim Whitehead and Tom and Leslie Ware.
