Gertrude Marie (Wise) Holderbaum Blosser, daughter of Nathaniel & Luella May (Anglemyer) Wise.

1st married on 26 Jul 1919 Arthur Allen Holderbaum (1890-1947), son of Solomon & Catherine (Ritschie) Holderbaum. They had 8 children:

GERTRUDE M. BLOSSER
WAKARUSA -- Mrs. Gertrude Marie Blosser, 80, LouAnn Nursing Home, Nappanee, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday at Goshen General Hospital, where she was a patient for four days. She had been a resident at the nursing home since January.
She was born July 28, 1901, near the community of Southwest, Elkhart County. As Gertrude Wise, she married Arthur Holderbaum July 16 [26], 1919. He died Aug. 7, 1947. She then married Harvey Blosser in October [Nov 15] 1952. He died in September [August] 1963.
Surviving are one son, Milo E. Holderbaum, Goshen; seven daughters, Mrs. C.L. (Edna) Wilhelm, Mrs. William (Bonnie) Smith and Mrs. Charles (Wilma) Wenger, all of Goshen, Mrs. Mervin (Ruby) Etsinger, New Paris, Mrs. Everett (Jeannie) Whitehead, Nappanee, Mrs. Frank (Marjorie) Ogar, Edwardsburg, and [step-daughter] Mrs. Ivan (Fern) Tavernier, Porter, Ind.; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Bessie Stickel, Nappanee; two stepsons, Russell Blosser, Goshen, and Walter Blosser, Wakarusa; and one brother, Elmer Wise, Mishawaka.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and all day and evening Wednesday at the Lienhart Funeral Home. Her body will lie in state for one hour prior to services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Brethren. The Revs. Paul McBride and Allen Weldy, will officiate. Burial will be in Olive West Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Brethren, of which she was a member.
