Frank L. Davis (Bob), 75, of RD 1 Albion, died Wednesday at Rolling Fields Nursing Home after an extended illness.
He was born in Verona, Pennsylvania, September 26, 1911, son of William Jack Davis and Lula Mae Milliken Davis. He had been an Albion resident for the past five years, moving from Elkins, West Virginia where he had lived for a great portion of his life.

He was a retired truck driver, having worked for the Union Carbide plant in Charleston, W. V. He attended the United Methodist Church in Elkin. He was veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy as a Fireman Second Class.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine and second wife Ruth Christy Davis, and by two brothers; Harold Nathaniel Davis and Earl Kier Davis, sisters Helen Estelle Davis & Martha [George] Shannon.
Survivors include his wife Anna Ressler Smith Davis and a son Frank Davis of Richmond, Va; two sisters Mrs. Merl {Delna} Sawdy and Mrs. Theron {Margaret} Beery, both of Albion, and several grandchildren , nieces and nephews.

Friends called at Runner Funeral Home with services there on Monday.

Interment in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Charleston, with Samuel J. Steff Funeral Home, Albion, in charge of local arrangements.
