Mrs. Cornelius Vander Meer died at her home in Alton, Tuesday morning at the age of 76 years.
She was born near Freeport, Ill, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Willem Vander Mey.
She was married to Cornelius Vander Meer on Sept. 26, 1894. they observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1944.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Marcus Muilenburg of Alton and a son Floyd of Battle Creek, Mich.; five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death was one son William in 1945.
Services will be at the home in Alton at 1:16 P.M., Thursday and at Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City at 2:00. Rev. C. Boonstra in charge. Interment in the Orange City Cemetery.
