Mrs. Cornelia C. Muilenburg, formerly of Alton and Orange City, Iowa, died May 19, at Lake Region Hospital.

Services were held Saturday, May 22, at 10:30 o'clock in the United Presbyterian Church, Alton, Iowa with burial in Westlawn Cemetery. The Rev. David Johnson officiated. He was assisted by Mrs. Muilenburgs' grandsons, Rev. Marcus Hess and Yale Divinity student, Warren G. Stamp II.

Cornelia Muilenburg was born in Alton, Iowa February 13, 1895. She graduated from Alton High School and attended Hope College in Holland Michigan before graduating from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a member of Delphi Sorority and taught for four years at Smith School in Sioux City, Iowa.

She was preceeded in death by her husband Marcus C. Muilenburg in 1966, a grandson Thomas Grier Stamp in 1952, a daughter Mary Muilenburg Stamp in September, 1981 and a brother Missionary Rev. William Van Der Meer in 1944.

Surviving is a daughter, Betty M. Hess of Fergus Falls, Minn.; granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Goulet, Carolyn M. Zack, and Mary Cornelia Hess, all of St. Paul, Minn.; grandsons, Rev. Marcus Hess of Longville, Minn., Warren G. Stamp II, Marcus Van Der Mey Stamp and Neal Van Der Meer Stamp, both of Dennison Ohio University; three great-grandchildren, David and Elizabeth Anna Zack, Katherine Goulet and a brother, Floyd Vander Meer of Battle Creek, Michigan.
