Pauline married Rural Avis Hartsell on 12 Apr 1929 in Newton Co., MO. Rural was b.28 Jan 1904 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma & d.9 Dec 1969 in Benton, Saline Co., AR.
In 1930, they were living in Rogers, Benton Co., AR where Rural was a Church of Christ minister.
By 1940, they moved to Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA. Many of the Akin family from Barry Co. moved to California during this period of time.
Pauline and Rural and had 4 children, two of which are still living.

Pauline was a school teacher and ended up living in Colorado Springs, Co with some of her children near by.
She lived an 'Akin' long life of 93 years.

In 1930, they were living in Rogers, Benton Co., AR where Rural was a Church of Christ minister.
By 1940, they moved to Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA. Many of the Akin family from Barry Co. moved to California during this period of time.
Pauline and Rural and had 4 children, two of which are still living.
