Services Set For Mrs. Gast
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the St. James Catholic Church for Mrs. L. A. (Albina) Gast, who died at the Crews hospital at 10:35 a.m. Friday.
The Rev. Joseph Mathey, pastor, will officiate at the services and also at the short services at 9:15 a.m. at the Seydler Funeral Home. Burial will take place in St. James cemetery.
A rosary service, conducted by the Rev.Mathey, will be held at Seydler's Sunday evening at 8 o'clock.
Mrs. Gast, the wife of Lorenz A. Gast, who died on February 26, 1958, was born on March 6, in Fayette county. She was the daughter of Paul and Adolphina Stockbauer Simcik, natives of Germany and Czechoslovakia respectively.
A member of the St. James Catholic Church, she is survived by seven sons, Paul, Emil, Frank and LeRoy, all of Gonzales; David and Jimmie of Houston; Victor of Pasadena; four daughters, Mrs. A. J. (Annie) Pospisil of Flatonia; Mrs. Leo (Stella) Baker, Gonzales; Mrs. James (Rosie) Johnson of Austin; Mrs. A. L.(Martha) Callaghan of Houston; 26 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Jim Simcik of Eagle Lake; four sisters, Mrs.AntonPulkrabek of Moulton; Mrs. Joe Gast, Mrs. Willie Brosch and Mrs. Frank Brosch, all of Flatonia.
