Jerome Workman born in Knox county Ohio August 24, 1835 died at his home in Courtland, Kansas Tuesday December 23, 1902, aged 67 years, 3 months and 29 days.
Mr. Workman was a pioneer of this section, coming here in 1874 and homesteaded a farm three miles north and one west of Courtland. He was well known to a number of our readers and was an honorable upright citizen. For the past few years he has endured much suffering, but without complaint.
Funeral services were held December 24 at the M.E. church, Rev. Laporte of the same church having charge.
