Wife of Arthur, they had seven grown children, 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grand children. She was the daughter of Michael and Sarah Kline. Alice and Arthur were married in 1890 in Hardy County by the Rev. J. Nagley. She was age 75 at her passing; the pallbearers were her grandsons. The piano in the church was a gift left to the congregation in her Will. The Rev. E.B. Smith performed her funeral.
