Arthur was a farm manager who helped others to run their large farms. He was the son of Jacob Miller and Margaret Catherine (Reynolds) who came from Mt. Jackson, Virginia and to relocate in Hardy County, WV. Arthur, a widower at age 23, married (Sarah) Alice Kline in 1890 in Hardy County, WV. They had seven grown children. He passed away at age 69; the Rev. Seastrunk Sr., performed his funeral.
