Ivan and Martha were married at the parish parsonage by the Rev. Sloop in 1918. He was a WWI veteran; stationed early-on at Camp Humphreys, Va. After the war he took-up farming and they raised a foster daughter. He spent his whole life helping others and served the Church here as a member of the Cemetery committee. Among his family kin were: Dorothy (Ambrose), Floyd, Marvin, Katherine (Harvey), and Eva (Spillman). Ivan passed away at the age of 89; his funeral was performed by the Rev. JoAnn Bunn and the Rev. Charles Lesemann.
