Jerry LaFave, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at his home.
He was born September 6, 1940 to Jule and Leona (Jackson) LaFave.
Mr. LaFave served in the United States Marines during Vietnam. He also owned Choices Residential Care and was an administrator of Phil Lawrence Group Home.
He was in the VFW in New Mexico and Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Agnes Frakes, Victoria Wilson, Darlene Miller, and Phyllis Dowlen; seven brothers, Noah, Junior, Floyd, Richard, Rex, Clarence, and Allen.
Survivors: brother, Jimmie LaFave, St. Joseph, Missouri; sister, Alline Major, St. Joseph, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
