She was born the tenth of eleven children to Lula Belle Clark (1885 - 1956) & Arthur Dudley Franklin Augusta Purvis (1881 - 1965) Texas Certificate of Birth shows her born 6 Feb 1920 @ 8PM
Sadly, her sister, the ninth child, Dovie Purvis passed away Apr. 21, 1920 shortly after Blanche's birth, so while the family was very happy to celebrate a birth, they were also now mourning the loss of Dovie.
Blanche's first husband was Carl Wallace Farris and they had one daughter Frances Margo Farris, but sadly their marriage ended abruptly.
When the now divorced Blanche 'Farris' remarried 25 Mar 1939 to her second husband BL Vines he adopted Margo as his own child & continued on to Father three additional children.
BL was loving father and also a contractor and an insulator, and who after working years with insulation contracted Mesothelioma and sadly died 23 Feb 1969.
