Everett Rhoden, who was injured last Wednesday while at work on the highway north of town by a fresno rope catching him around the neck, died at Liberal hospital early Monday morning. He was thought to be not much injured at first, but in a few days developed serious symptoms and he was taken to the hospital. He was a young married man in his early 20's, and was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Rhoden to meet a tragic death in the past four years. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church Wednesday at 2:30 and interment made at Texhoma cemetery Friends of the family and relatives are by sympathy and kindly expressions, seeking to help in this great sorrow.
