Charles H. Harrison
Charles H. Harrison, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Harrison, was born October 3, 1880 north of Industry, Kansas. He departed from his life March 20, 1955 at the Clay County hospital at the age of 74 years, six months and 17 days.
Mr. Harrison had lived all his lifetime in Clay County ans was well known by many.
He was united in marriage to Frances Olive Kipp at Clay Center, Kansas. To this union were born eleven children.
During his life span he accepted Christ as his Saviour. He passed quietly away to a greater life with loved ones, who had gone on before, leaving his wife, his children, Leo, Don and Mrs. Margaret Mildfeldt, Clay Center; Alvin and Mrs. Vera Smith, Bakersfield, Calif.; Norma Francis Harrison, Coos Bay, Ore.; Mrs. Miona McGill, Deming, New Mex.; Mrs. Ruth Motley and Mrs. June Brughelli, Manhattan; Mrs. Florence Zentz, Aujahoga Falls, Ohio; three sisters and two brothers, Goldie Jiggs, Topeka; Anna Dixsen, Junction City; Tildon Harrison, Riley; Josephine Schiltz, Clay Center and John Harrison, Detroit, Mich; 61 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
A daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Russell of Akron, Ohio preceded him in death on July 22, 1949.
He was fond of hunting and fishing. His occupation was a butcher and a farmer. His greatest pleasures was making others happy.
Funeral services were held a the Peterson-Neill Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. L. R. Brasier offficating. Burial was made in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jr. Ray Mounts, William Mildfeldt, Leonard Harrison, Cecil Harrison, Vigil Harrison and Charles Branan, all grandsons of the deceased.

Charles Heny is my grandfather.
He is the son of James Edward, Sr and Alice Roseltha (Robinson) Harrison.
