Donald D.C. (Bill) Harrison
Donald C. (Bill) Harrison, 74, of Clay Center, died Saturday, April 14, 1990, at Colmery-O'Neill VA Hospital.
He was born June 25, 1915, in Clay Center, the son of Charlie and Frances Kipp Harrison.
He was married to Etta B. Beck, May 3, 1934, in Clay Center, she preceded him in death July 30, 1986.
Mr. Harrison was a truck and equipment operator for the City of Clay Center for 16 years before retiring in 1977. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Dover Post No. 337 of the American Legion and Clay Center Chapter No. 37 of Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors includea brother, Alvin C. Harrison of Bakersfield, Calif.; six sisters, Margaret Mildfeldt of Green, Lucile Johnson and Vera King, both of Clay Center, Norman Archuletta of Clay Center, June Brughelli of Eskridge and Florence Zentz of Manhattan.
Private military graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center. Holmes Funeral Home in Riley is in charge of arrangments.
Donald Cecil is my uncle.
He is the son of Charles Henry and Frances Olive (Kipp) Harrison. He had no children.
