Pauline Davis, 80, of Franklin, died at 4:25 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 1983, at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She had been in ill health for several years and entered the hospital December 25.

She was born December 26, 1903, in Scammon, to Charles and Sarah Evans. She lived in Scammon, Franklin, and Pittsburg most of her life and attended schools in Columbus and Pittsburg.

She was married to Archie Davis in 1923. He died July 26, 1983.

She was a member of the Open Door Fellowship Church.

Survivors include one son, Robert L. Davis, Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, LaVon Patrick, Franklin; three sisters, Dorothy Davidosn, Lakeland, Florida, Thelma Scroggins, Girard, and Susan Ports, Pittsburg; two brothers, Bill Evans, Pittsburg and Joe Evans, Boston, Massachusetts; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Brenner Chapel with the Reverend Don Talent officiating. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Brenner Chapel.
