NEWPORT -- Mrs. Dora B. Moyer, 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, at the Blue Hill Convalescent Home, Selinsgrove RD, where she had been a guest. She was a long time resident of Newport. She was a member of the Incarnation United Church of Christ, a life member of the church's Women's Guild, and a member of the Perry County Historical Society and the Newport Civic Club.
She is survived by a son, the Rev. Dr. James W. Moyer, of Carlisle, president of the Penn-Central Conference, United Church of Christ; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence H. Gelnett, of Middleburg, Pa., and Mrs. Bruce R. Rafuse, of Clinton, Ontario, Canada; a brother, George Bistline, of Clinton Forge, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Homer Rice of Newport; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow, Dec. 3, at the Incarnation Church, Newport. Her pastor, the Rev. J. Keller Brantley, will officiate. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home, S. Second St., Newport, this evening from 7 to 9.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Incarnation United Church of Christ, Newport.
