Mrs. Susan E. Bistline, wife of James C. Bistline, died at her home at Newport, Friday evening, May 29, aged 73 years and 10 months. She was a daughter of Solomon and Margaret (Hartzell) Brown, of Newport. She and Mr. Bistline were married December 23, 1879. Four children were born to them, namely: Mrs. Homer V. Rice and Mrs. Oscar W. Moyer, of Newport, and George P. Bistline, Old Fort, North Carolina, and Edmund D. Bistline, Newark, N. J. Funeral services were held Tuesday of last week and burial was in Newport cemetery.
