A.B. "Buddy" Rushing, Jr., age 72, of Pine Bluff, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, died Friday, January 25, 2013.
Born December 28, 1940 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late A. B. Rushing, Sr. and Allie Belle Garner Rushing.
Along with his parents, he was preceded by a son, Donald Rushing; two brothers, Roger Rushing and Michael Wayne Rushing; and two sisters, Emmer Jean Rushing Lawrence and Christine Rushing Wiley.
He worked in maintenance at Central Moloney, retiring after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Sipes Rushing, whom he married on June 1, 1957; Three sons, Jimmy Rushing of Star City, and Carl Rushing and Timothy Rushing, both of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Debra Harris of Pine Bluff; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, J. T. Rushing and Gary Rushing, both of Pine Bluff and Havis Rushing of White Hall; and three sisters, Shirley Beatty of Pine Bluff, Trish Rushing of McKinney, TX, and Charlotte Best of White Hall.
Funeral services will be Monday, 1:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Danny Everett officiating.
Burial will be in Rowell Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
