Mrs. A. B. Rushing, 42,of Altheimer died this morning at Jefferson Hospital of Pine Bluff, Arkansas

Mrs. Rushing was born Jan. 7, 1920 at Kingsland (Cleveland County) to Bryant Garner and the late Jeannie Haynie Garner.

She attended school at Kingsland. On Dec. 31, 1938 she married A. B. Rushing Sr. in Rison, Arkansas. She lived in Jefferson County for 18 years.

She was A Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, A. B. Rushing, Sr., six sons: A. B. (Buddy)Rushing, Jr., J. T. Ruahing, of Pine Bluff, Ark., Havis Rushing, Michael Rushing, Roger Rushing, Gary Rushing of Altheimer, Ark., five daughters, Mrs. Billy (Ermma) Lawrence, Mrs. Jessie (Shirley) Beatty, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Christine Rushing, Patricia Rushing, Charlotte Rushing of Altheimer. Her father, Bryant Garner of Fountain Hill, Arkansas, Three brothers, W. J. Garner, M. T. Garner, and Bobby Rae Garner of Pine Bluff, Ark., six sisters, Mrs. Elsie Smith, Mrs. Everett Evans, and Mrs. Jeff Wallace of Pine Bluff, ARk., Mrs. Earnest Meeks of Memphis and mrs. George Collett and Mrs. L. C. Conner of Orlando, Fla., and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Glendale, Ark., by Rev. R. H. House and Rev. John F. Kimbrell.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery by South Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.

Pallbearers were W. J. Johnson, Holland Reynolds, Tommy Mullins, J. W. McCall, Glen McCall, James Rushing, Jessie Owen, Thomas Owen Rushing, Troy Raley and Hollis Raley.
