Surrounded by her family, she is survived by her husband, Carlos Griego of 58 years, her three sons and their families, Andrew Griego and his wife, Peggy, Stephen Griego and his wife, Lydia and Edward Griego and his wife, Wilma and her daughter, Charlene Hernández and her husband, Steven, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister, Virginia Gabaldón and brother, Henry Martínez.
Let us celebrate her new life with our Lord.
A rosary will be recited at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that we continue to fight the battle of cancer in her memory by donating to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, www.info-komen.org/goto/alicegriego or the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation, 4901 Lang Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
