Henry was born in Algodones, NM, on April 12, 1923, to Pedro and Elvira Martínez.
Henry was a World War II veteran and cabinet maker by trade and a member and an usher of the Catholic Church Holy Name Society.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Tony Martínez, Daniel Martínez, Joe Martínez and Alice Griego.
Henry is survived by wife, Mary Martínez, children, Robert Martínez and Yolanda Beltran, Rosella Martínez and her late husband, Luther, Rudy David Martínez and his wife, Margarita, Tina Cisneros and her husband, Leon, Ron Martínez and his wife, Loretta, Pete Martínez and his wife, Haydee and Ruth Martínez and Larry Juárez, grandchildren, Brenda, Bridgette, Robert, Chris, Tammy, Jennifer, David, Angela, Danny, Gabriel, Roman, Lisa, Rosemary and Michelle, twenty six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, sister, Virginia Galbadon and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the care givers who took care of Henry, Petra, Carol, Renee, Kim, Pete, Mary Jo and Josie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 1860 Griegos Rd. NW Albuqueruq, NM. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
