Dora Carroll, 65, of Rt. 1 Norma, passed away in the Scott County Hospital Friday morning May 30; she was the daughter of the late Franklin Massengale and the late Mary Jane Bunch Massengale, a member of the Smokey Creek Baptist Church. Survivors: son, Odeva Carroll of Rt. 1 Norma; four daughters, Mildred Jane Lowe of Norma, Frankie Ruth Shoopman of Helenwood, Audrey Mae Goodman of Norma, Annette Fay Lowe of Norma; four brothers, Levi Massengale of Oliver Springs, Laford Massengale and Elmer Massengale both of Norma, McKinley Massengale of Huntsville; five sisters, Elizabeth Cross, Sylvania Harness, Celia Cross, Locie Hembree, Lindy Lowe all of Norma; thirty three grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the Smokey Creek Baptist Church 1 p.m. Sunday June 1, with Rev. Hays Bass officiating. Burial in the Lowe Cemetery.
