Estelle Kate Lewis was born Sept. 14, 1878 at Price Town, Ohio and died at her residence in Reydon, Oklahoma, September 8, 1949. On June 10, 1886 she was married to John E. Lewis. In 1901 they came to Roger Mills County, Oklahoma where she resided in the Durham community until a few years ago when she moved to Reydon. She has been a member of the Assembly of God church for 32 years.
Survivors include her husband, John E. Lewis, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; four daughters, Dora Timmons, Mangum, Oklahoma,; Lucille Link, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Freda Widener and Georgie Cockrell both of Durham, Oklahoma, four sons, Virgil Lewis and Albert Lewis of Durham, Ok. Arthur Lewis of Amarillo, Texas and Carl Lewis of Reydon.
Clergyman officiating was Rev. Robert Estes.
Pallbearers were Warren Poindexter, Willie Boydston, Alfus Coffey, Elia Clay, W.C. Stauber and Bruce Harrison.
Committal was in the Fairview cemetery near Durham, OK.
