Mrs. Widener died at the St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, April 6, following a brief illness.
She was born March 23, 1919, at Durham and has lived near there her entire life. On June 4, 1938 she was united in marriage to Norman C. Widener at Sayre.
Mrs. Widener was a lifetime member of the Reydon Assembly of God Church.
Survivors inclde her husband, Norman; three daughters, Elaine, Sharon, and Pauline, all of the home address, two sons, Clifford and Glen, also of the home address; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Timmons, Mangum, Mrs. Lucille Link of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Georgia Cockrell of Durham; four brothers, Virgil and Albert Lewis, both of Durham, Arthur of Amarillo and Carl of Reydon.
Burial was in the Fairview cemetery near Durham with Scroggins Funeral Home, Cheyenne in charge of arrangements.
