Lida Omyra Barnes was the daughter of Tracy P Barnes 1827 and Mary Prudence Cottrell.

Her parents lived in Alden, Erie County, New York, and Pembroke, Genesee County, New York (1870). About 1871 the family moved to Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin. There, on December 19, 1881, Lida married Henry Cornelius Hansen, the son of Hans Christian Hansen and Elizabeth Kaselau.

The couple lived in Oshkosh. In 1902 Henry died. Lida and her children lived in Oshkosh until by 1910 when they moved to the Rosebud Indian Reservation, Mallette, South Dakota. Son Lloyd was the head of household, working as an Indian agent. By 1920, Lida and many of her children were living with son Percy in Jamestown, Stutsman, North Dakota.
Lida also lived for a time in Fargo, Cass, North Dakota, but died and is buried in Jamestown.


Children:

Harvey Chester 1883, married Bessie Marie MacDonald, lived in Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Carlton, Minnesota; Stutsman, North Dakota; Marble City and Norman, Oklahoma. Six children.

Lloyd Emery 1886, married Mable Grace Troyer, lived in San Bernadino, California, eight children.

Russell 1888-1895. Died in Oshkosh at age 7.

Percy Millard 1890, married Thelma A Davis, lived in Tennessee and California. One child.

Bessie O 1829, married William Lawrence, lived in Campbell, Wisconsin.

Byron Gordon 1895, married Eda Dahl, lived in Jamestown, Stutsman, North Dakota. One child.

Loren Clevenger 1898, married Florence G Noyes, lived in Fargo, North Dakota; Redmond, Washington; John Day, Oregon; Two children.

Dione 1900, married Raymond Ringuette, lived in Fargo, North Dakota.

Clifford 1911, married Mabel, lived in Waterloo, Nebraska, 3 children.
