RUSHFORD, Minn. (Special) — Vance Bartelson, B6, Rushford, died Friday at 12:35 p.m. at his home unexpectedly.

He was a farmer who retired in 1966. He was born Jan. 14, 1905 in Pine Creek, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Bartelson, and was a lifelong resident of Rushford.

He married Seldie Jonsgard Nov. 10, 1932 at Rushford. He had attended Rush Creek rural school and was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, LaVerne, Winona, and Curtis, Lewiston, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Delores) Finlayson, Rushford, and Mrs. Wayne (Margaret) Kronebusch, Minnelska, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; five brothers, Gilmer, Clarence, Edwin, Normnn and Arthur, all of Rushford; three sisters, Mrs. James (Alvern) Jacobson, Rushford; Mrs. James (Ellen) Volkmnn, Lewiston, and Mrs. Ella Antonson, Rushford. Three sisters and a brother are doad.

Funeral services will be at Rushford Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. Monday, with burial in Rushford Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Owen Gansedelen will officiate.

Friends mny call at Jensen-Cook Funeral Homo here tonight from 7 to 0 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Arnold Bartelson, Ordell Jacobson, Leonard Volkmnn, Morris Fablnn, "Victor Wornn, Marvin Moron and Morris Moran.
