RUSHFORD, Minn; (Special) . — Leonard J. Bartelson, 69, rural Rushford, died .at 1:15 a.mi. today at La Crosse Lutheran Hospital after a threeyear illness. He had been hospitahzed. one week. A self-employed carpenter before retiring three: years ago, he was horn March 24, 1901, to Lars and Helena Bartelson, and was a: lifelong resident: of Winona County. He never married. A member of Rushford Lutheran Church, he is survived by six brothers, Gilmer,: Clarence, Edwhi, Vance, Norman and Arthury ail of Rushford; three sisters, Mrs; Edward (Ellen), Volkmah, Lewiston, Minn.; Mrs. Alvera Jacobsori and Mrs. John (Ella) Antonson, both of Rushford, and several nieces and nephews.
