The sons of Lais and Helina Bartelson, he was born in Pine Creek Valley, Nov. 8, 1911. He was a lifelong resident of the area where he farmed, He never married..He was:a member of. the: Rush ford Lutheran Church. y '. ¦¦

Survivors are: four brothers, Gilmer, Clarence, .-Edwin ''.- ' arid Norman, Rushford; and two sisters',,- Mrs; Alvera Jacobson, Rushford, and: Mrs. Edward (Ellen) Volk man, Lewiston. Two brothers and four sisters have died. ;.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rushford Lutheran Church, the Rev. Owen Gaasedelen officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.- . '
Friends may call at the Jensen-Cook Funeral Home Wednesday evening and Thursday until 11 a.m., then at the church after 1 p.m.
