WESTFIELD -- Bertha L. Williams, 92, of Westfield died this morning, Tuesday, May 3, 1994, in Westfield Village nursing home.

Miss Williams was a clerk at O.H. New Hardware in Westfield for 30 years. She was also a teller for Westfield Savings & Loan and a secretary for Hadley & Jones Insurance in Westfield.

She was born Feb. 1, 1902, in St. Joseph, Ill., to Orchis and Almeda (Arnold) Williams.

She was a member of Westfield Friends Church, where she was treasurer for 33 years.

Survivors include four sisters, Mildred Stalker and Gladys Overman, both of Westfield, Orpha Miller of Cumberland and Mary L. Bono of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in McMullan Funeral Home at Westfield. Burial will be in Summit Lawn Cemetery. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
