Arlie Click Long, 74, of 261 Parkway, died yesterday in Winchester Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Long was born Jan. 15, 1904 at Bridgewater, a son of the late S. W. and Ida Click Long.

He was a graduate of Bridgewater High School and Dunsmore Business College at Staunton. Until his retirement he was a partner in the Winchester Electric Co. He was a member of Braddock Street United Methodist Church, was made honorary steward Dec. 31, 1975; a member and past president of the Golden Rule Bible Class; member and past president of the Rouss Fire Co.; former director of the Firemen's Parade; member of the Parks and Recreation Board for 15 years and served as chairman 1951-1955; past member Winchester-Frederick County Chamber of Commerce having served as director, treasurer and vice president; member of the A.A.R.P. Chapter #114 and member of the Senior Citizen Club.

Surviving is his widow the former Elizabeth Glover whom he married June 20,1929 at Weyers Cave; a son Samuel G. Long of Winchester; a daughter Mrs. R. C. (Peggy) Egertson of Kerwin, Pa-; a brother D. F. Long of Winchester and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Braddock Street United Methodist Church by the Rev. William Hough and the Rev. Waverly G. Reames. The body will be placed in the church one hour before-the service.

Pallbearers will be Norval M. Hottle, John J. Hawse, Taylor Barr, Maurice Blosser, Laurence C. Swanson and Harold D. Patton.

Burial will-be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home.

Remembrances may be made to the Braddock Street United Methodist Church Building Fund, 115 Wolfe St., Winchester, Va.
