BRIDGEWATER — Samuel W. Long, 92, a well known resident of this community died suddenly Monday at 8:50 p. m. at his home.

Mr. Long was a retired farmer and broom-maker. He was one of the oldest members of the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. He was born Feb. 15, 1869. He married Miss Ida Rebecca Click on Dec.4, 1899.

Mr. Long is survived by two sons, Dewitt Long and Arlie Long, both of Winchester; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body is now at the W. L. Rosenberger Funeral Home here pending funeral arrangements.

BRIDGEWATER—Final rites for Samuel William Long, 92, a resident of this community, will be conducted Wednesday at p. m from the College Street Church of the Brethren.

The Rev. Bernard N. King will have charge of the services with burial in the Oak Lawn Cemetery here.

Mr. Long died suddenly Monday evening at his home.

Pallbearers will be Francis Hollen, Clinton Kennedy, Herbert Garst, Ralph Crist, C. S. Kiracofe, Jr. and Nelson Brunk.

The body is now at the W. L. Rosenberger Funeral Home here where it will remain until 12:30 Wednesday when it will be place in the church.

Relatives are asked to meet at the Rosenberger Funeral Home at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday for a brief service prior to leaving for the church.

The family requests that flowers be omitted.

Mr. Long was a son of late Emanuel and Elizabeth Miller Long and was born Feb. 15, 1869, in Orange County. He moved to this community 85 years ago.

He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Brethren.
