Clyde, my paternal great-uncle, was a son of Lafayette Alcorn and Alice Louisiana (Love) Alcorn. He had 6 siblings: Lola (Alcorn) Buntin, Roy Anvil, Scott Lee, Ora, Myrtle (she passed away either as a newborn or toddler), and Charles Loven.

Clyde was married to Margaret Fennell (born in 1888 in Illinois) in St. Joseph, Berrien, Michigan on Aug. 4, 1914. They lived in various places in the U.S. (including IL and MO) before settling in California around 1921 until Clyde's death. They had no children.

Clyde's "State of California Death Certificate" states he died at age 49 due to "Chronic Myocardial Degeneration with Coronary Thrombosis."

I would love to have met Clyde & Margaret and wish I had known earlier that they had lived in Los Angeles as I would have visited their burial places while living there.
