HANOVER - Helen L. Baugher, 80, died at 9:20 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2003, at the Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond E. Baugher, Sr., who died June 20, 1992.

Born December 29, 1922, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (Hoff) Dickensheets.

Helen was a member of the Hanover Church of the Brethren. She was also a member of the Happy Ramblers Motorcycle Club of Bonneauville for several years.

She worked for approximately 15 years as a waitress at the Famous Hot Weiner of Hanover. Before this, Helen worked at the Revonah Spinning Mills of Hanover for several years.

Helen is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Spera of East Berlin and Karen L. Raubenstine of Hanover; one son, Raymond E. Baugher, Jr. of Shrewsbury; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Walter Dickensheets of Hanover; and two sisters, Catherine Kuhn and Violet Huggins, both of Hanover. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet H. Hilton, and 12 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 7th, at the Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson Ave., Hanover, with her pastor, the Rev. Eric M. Longwell, officiating. Burial will be in Black Rock Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Glenville.
