Born in Lineboro, Md., he was the son of the late Edward E. and Anna R. Geiman Baugher. He was the husband of Helen L. (Dickensheets) Baugher.
Mr. Baugher was a member of the Hanover Church of the Brethren, Hanover, The Hanover Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion Post 14, The Hanover Elks Lodge, The York and Adams County Game and Fish Association, the Green Springs Rod and Gun Club, The Happy Ramblers Motorcycle Club, The American Motorcycle Association, the Penn Township Ambulance Club, and served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Baugher retired after 25 years of service for the York Borg-Warner Corp. of York.
Surviving also is one son, Raymond E. Baugher Jr. of Shrewsbury; three daughters, Barbara Ann Spera of Fort Washington, Pa., Janet E. Hilton of Longmont, Co., and Karen L. Raubenstine of Hanover; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Olive S. Hanson of Hanover.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson Ave., with the Rev. John D. Byers officiating. Burial will be at the Black Rock Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Black Rock.
