Adeline Sedlacek was born October 1, 1923 in Stanton County, Nebraska to Joe and Emma (Mundil) Karel. She received her education at District #52 in Stanton County. On October 14, 1941 Adeline was united in marriage to Albin E. Sedlacek at the Presbyterian Church in Clarkson, Nebraska. The couple farmed until moving to Columbus in January of 1957. Adeline was a homemaker and worked at Becton-Dickinson for 26 years. She was a member of the Federated Church.
