LaRean S. Barney Smith, 76, of Salt Lake City and formerly of Richfield, Utah, our precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and daughter was called home January 19, 1997.
LaRean was born on June 30, 1920, to Afton and Lillie Theresa Nielsen Barney Conder in Escalante, Utah. LaRean loved her family dearly and devoted her entire life to them. She forever blessed and touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by, daughter, Lillian Hatch (Max) Sidwell, West Valley, UT; brothers, Orean (Faye) Barney, Richfield, UT; Freeland (Dorothy) Barney, Magna, UT; Clem (Charlotte) Barney, Richfield, UT; four grandchildren, Mark Sidwell, West Valley City, UT; Debbie (Michael) King, West Jordan, UT; Larry (Daina) Sidwell, Draper, UT; Terry (Dorothy) Sidwell, South Jordan, UT; "WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA" and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: son, parents, three sisters, and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 22, 1997 at 1 p.m. in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 S. 100 W. in Richfield, where friends may call on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery
