Bio (provided by a contributor)
Alice C. Walsh was born to Edmund Walsh and Anna Hulgard, probably in County Kerry, Ireland; she was the youngest of at least 7 children.

Her sister Elizabeth was the oldest, and the first to emigrate to America. By 1900 the entire family had arrived and settled in and around Cortland, NY.
Alice, her sister Anna, and her brother Patrick, are found in the 1900 census living with with Levi Butler, husband of their recently deceased sister Julia. Alice's date of birth is shown as 1880, likely more accurate than later records indicate.

On October 26,1910, Alice married Christian Bache, who had just recently immigrated from either Sweden, Holland, or Denmark; the records vary.

They're found in the 1920 census, in Rochester,NY, near her mother, sister Anna, and brother Edward, who are living with Levi Butler.

In 1914, Alice and Christian have a son, Richard, and in 1930 they are found, again, near Anna and Levi, in Redondo Beach,CA.

Like her mother and sister Elizabeth, Alice lived well into her 90s.
