The 1905 NYS census shows Edmund, his wife, and son at 75 Floral Ave. in Cortland. Their name is spelled "Welch" in that census.
Edmund died just months after that census, in November 1905.
He was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery Cemetery; he was 70 years old.
