Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, Sat. May 4, 1940, p. 14:4. FORMER COUNTY DEALER EXPIRES. Henry Loehr, 71, Johnsburg Merchant, Dies At Home In Los Angeles. Henry Loehr, 71, retired general mercantile dealer of Johnsburg, widely known throughout the county, died Friday at his home in Los Angeles, where he had resided since 1928. Born Jan. 9, 1869, in Johnsburg, Mr. Loehr operated a store at that place for 40 years. He was married Sept. 12, 1893, to Miss Susan Hennen. Mr. and Mrs. Loehr resided at Johnsburg until 1928, when Mr. Loehr disposed of his business and the couple moved to Los Angeles. Mr. Loehr was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the E.F.U. Surviving are his widow; 13 sons and daughters, Arthur of Van Dyne, Alfred of Johnsburg, Alex of Milwaukee, Ambrose and Vincent of this city and Dorothy, Lucinda, Martha, Walter, Joseph, Henry, Charles and Mrs. David McGee of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Matt Moersch and Mrs. J.P. Stephany of this city. Vincent, Arthur and Alex Loehr will attend funeral services for their father to be held in Los Angeles.

Rosary this evening, 8 o'clock, at the residence, 548 South Van Ness avenue. Requiem mass Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Brendan's Church. Interment, Calvary. Cunningham & O'Connor, directors.
