Passed away Saturday, July 17, 2004 in Plainwell. Mrs. Dreger was born February 12, 1924 in Allegan to Milford and Edna (Briggs) Hammon and had been a lifelong resident of the area. For many years she was employed as a tax preparer. Betty led an active life and enjoyed bowling, roller skating, golfing, baseball, softball, tennis, biking, cooking and working crossword puzzles. On September 1, 1947 in Otsego she married Bill Dreger, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Carla (Raymond) Cook of Portage and Michaelle (Robert) Redford of Martin; four grandchildren, Mick (Angie) Enders, Eric Enders, Jessica Redford and Aaron Redford; a sister, Marleen Hammon of Allegan; three sisters-in-law, Ruth (Richard) Drake of Ionia, Caroline Hammon of Allegan and Doreen Hammon of Ohio; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Milford Hammon, Jr. and Donald Hammon. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. today at the

Graveside services at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, Rev. Don Ray officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care or the First Congregational Church of Otsego.
