Edna Hammon Passes Away

Mrs. Edna B. Hammon, 309 Lincoln, Otsego, age 55, passed away at her residence early Sunday (August 23, 1959) morning, after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Hammon was born February 22, 1904, in Allegan County.

She is survived by her husband, Milford; two daughters, Mrs. William Dreger of Otsego, and Miss Marleen Hammon at home; two sons, Donald of Otsego, and Milford Jr., at home; one sister, Mrs. John Hileski of Allegan; two brothers, Lewis Briggs, of Kalamazoo, and William Briggs of Calif.

Friends called at the Winkel Funeral Home where services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., Rev. B. C. VanEvery officiating. Graveside services at Mountain Home Cemetery were under auspices of Otsego Women of the Moose.
