Mildred Bristow married John (Jack) Anstey on April 26, 1930 in Crown Point, IN. They had two children together.

Mildred M. Anstey, age 76, of Leroy, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 1986 at Broadway Methodist Hospital, Merrillville. Survivors: one daughter, Dorothy (Bill) Cook of Hebron; one son, Jackie (Vikki) Anstey of Austin, Texas; one stepson, Claude J. (Marge) Anstey of Crown Point; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Ruth Daniels of Crown Point, Lillian Harvey of Merrillville, Carrie Etta Savage of Hobart, Geraldine Holler of Griffith and Gloria Dean Yakim of Hobart; one brother, Ralph Melvin Bristow of Gary. Preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Leroy, with Rev. James Geer officiating. Burial, Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends may call from 1 p.m to 8 p.m. Friday at the Clark-Hughes Funeral Home, 303 Washington St., Hebron. Memorials to the Leroy United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
Mrs. Anstey was a valued member of the Leroy United Methodist Church.
